SANTA CLARA, California—December 1, 2009—Atypon Systems, Inc. today unveiled RightSuite 4.5, an even more powerful and refined version of the leading identity and access management and commerce solution for publishers. RightSuite 4.5 is available immediately.

The RightSuite is used by some of the world’s largest media conglomerates, including CBS Interactive, The McGraw-Hill Companies, News International, and Turner Broadcasting System, to sell and control access to their digital assets. RightSuite 4.5 adds these important capabilities:

  • RightReports includes out-of-the-box reports, an ETL platform, a star schema for access and commerce data, and integration with OpenReports, a flexible open source reporting solution.
  • Multiple Active Data Centers enables RightSuite to be deployed and operated across geographically dispersed data centers, all simultaneously online and active, without the need for any third-party tools.
  • Shibboleth 2, the current release of the Internet2 federated single sign-on framework used by academic, corporate, and governmental organizations with increasing frequency.

The RightSuite consists of two licensed modules, RightAccess and RightCommerce, which can operate together or individually as server applications or as Software as a Service. Consulting and implementation services are also available.
